What if I hadn’t been born?

Years ago I thought it would be better if I hadn’t bit now I realize that the universe doesn’t make mistakes! I’m grateful for the life I’ve had!

I agree! I was just thinking about Child #3 and how they don’t want to be here. I would be lost without them but they can’t see that. Too much pain.

I agree! We all need to realize that no matter how dark the day feels right now, that all troubles are temporary! I’ve been through some very dark days where I didn’t see a way out, but thankfully the universe had other plans for me and intervened. Even in the quiet times where we may feel abandoned by God, things are being worked out for us behind the scenes!
Do take your child’s concerns seriously! Even younger kids can have negative thoughts!
It may be life coping mechanisms, but it could be anxiety manifesting, could be seasonal adjustment disorder (SAD), or vitamin deficiency (google this!), or early depression!

They do have a myriad of mental health problems and are in therapy twice a week. I am working with the high school to get them what they need, but it’s slow going. Unfortunately, they don’t believe in God (too many bad things happening in their short life) and no matter what I say, they want nothing to do with Him. I keep praying. It’s hard to see your child in so much pain, especially since you were married to the person who inflicted such misery! However, God has a plan and I trust him, even if they don’t!
